Chase Morlock had reached his breaking point.

"I was doing the classic 4am until 7pm every day, just grinding, training all day everyday, getting burnt out. My wife was like, 'What's the point of this business? You're gone all the time and you don't make any money.'" — Chase Morlock

Morlock owned Rise Training and Fitness in Moorehead, Minnesota. He'd built it from nothing — starting by training his mom in the garage after his father passed away — but seven years in, he was stuck at $12,000 a month with 100 members and no path forward.

In the summer of 2023, he enrolled in ProFit's Business Accelerator Coaching Program. Eighteen months later, he's at $50,000 a month with three full-time coaches, 110 semi-private members, and he's completely off the floor.

Three Key Shifts

1. Switching to Semi-Private Training

The most significant change was abandoning the large group class model for semi-private training. The switch immediately doubled his average client value and quickly tripled his monthly gross revenue.

His 110 semi-private clients now pay between $400 and $500 a month, up from $200–$250 a year and a half ago.

2. An Actual Marketing Plan

Before the Business Accelerator, Rise Training had no marketing budget and had never run a paid ad.

"We dove into paid ads for the first time and watched the explosive growth happen. If you're putting money in and what's coming out is greater than you're spending, then we'll keep the gas on it."

3. Building a Coaching Team

Morlock went from being the only full-time coach to having three full-time coaches and four part-time coaches — all earning full salaries. He credits the Business Accelerator for giving him the confidence and the financial model to make it happen.

The Iron Circle Accelerates It Further

After hitting the $30,000 monthly threshold, Morlock joined the Iron Circle. The community has continued to fuel his growth.

"It's a pretty special group. You're taking some of the top dogs in the world and putting them in a room. Everyone shares their great ideas, and you take stuff that you like and you adapt it and make it your own. This group is just finding ways to help each other every single day."

His Message

"You can work as hard as you want, but if you're off target, that hard work is going toward nothing. My story is case in point. We hired a coach, made a shift and things started clicking."
